Several Works of V.P. Kovtun

Unrepeatable is the world of sparkling colours of Vladimir Kovtun, unusual are the topics of his canvases, bright and colourful are his fantasies and thoughts, incarnated in visible images. Mastery of "small Dutchmen" has always been the gauge of genius in art for the painter. Works of calssical style with its findings in light-and-shadows are mixed with original canvases where search of the new ways is reflected, unusual seeing of the colours, brave compositions...

The title "Shinig world" speaks itself. The seprantine of bubbles, bright blazes of light, golden fish, octopuses, beautiful mermaid - all is whirling, playing with the hues of unrepeatable colours, but over all this roundelay reigns the dignified Eye, as an eye of the Creator, observing the World, created by him, given by him for happiness!

Favourite place on Earth is originally displayed by the author at the picture "Rain in the Tsar's Village". Green-lilac tinits create some kind of coulissesof the stage, where faerie games of Water anf Light are moving. Huge Rain bubbles playing with the tints of mildest colours hang over the World. It is cosy for houses and trees and sparkling shade of Rasstrelli's bar under them. And the child joy who got to this carnival of Rain is so understandable!..

Long thoughts of Vladimir Kovtun about phenomenon of the Cylinders of the Pharaoh found their incarnation in the work "Initiated". From dark depth of the ages come to the Light the shdows of the "Initiated". The walked for a logn time by their hard paths, crossing time and distanse... They had to bring the greatest mistery of their Knowledge to the mankind. And now - the most diffcult part is over. The world learned the forgotten messengers of the Antiquity! Coming out of the Darkness of nonentity they lighten stronger and stronger the path of the future generations.
